Housing Programs
Langford Community Management Services (LCMS) has spent many years developing our project management services for the HOME Program to best serve Texas cities and counties. The HOME program, administered by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA), helps low to moderate income families who own their own home, which is their principal residence, and is in poor repair. The HOME Program can help rebuild a community at a grass roots level by improving the existing housing stock. LCMS delivers a personal touch working directly with the cities, counties, and homeowners of Texas. LCMS goes the extra mile aiding homeowners in a step-by-step process, inclusive but not limited to, assisting with title clearance and document gathering required for the homeowners to allow submission of an application to TDHCA for funding.
LCMS, along with the approval of the project applications, maintains oversite management of the construction process till completion including handing over the keys of the finished home to each owner. This is a very personal journey for all homeowners and frequently an emotional one. LCMS is there every step of the way to provide them with direction, information, resources, and the grand finale, moving into a new home. All the while being very mindful of Texas cities and counties’ contractual obligations to the agency, keeping them in compliance with the program’s rules and regulations of all projects.
